Truths you must see and believe in order to be saved!

I must accept my guilt before a just and holy God

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”

Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags.”

I must see how a just God rightfully demands a penalty to be paid for my sin

Romans 6:23 ”For the wages of sin is death”

Ezekiel 18:20 ”The soul that sins, it shall die”

I must see what God has provided for me through Jesus Christ

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”

Hebrews 2:9 “But we see Jesus…that He, by the grace of God should taste death for every man”

I must believe that salvation is God’s gift to me apart from any good works

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast”

Romans 4:5 “But to him that works not, but believes on Him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness”

I must concede that my rejection of Jesus Christ condemns me and nothing else

John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God”

I can know for sure that I am saved

1 John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life”

John 5:24 ”Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that hears My word, and believes on Him that sent Me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life”
